So, it's a LONG time until May 2027 and we want to get to know you - the Calgary area quilters!!
Let's do something fun to exercise our creativity, and build some community.
Let's make some quilted postcards. And send them to a new friend. And enjoy receiving a handcrafted "hello" in the mail.
Because postcards are on a small scale (approx 4" x 6") they're a great way of exploring a technique, either one that's familiar to you or something new. Consider trying some improvisational piecing, foundation paper piecing, or matchstick quilting. Maybe you can finally tackle designing in EQ8 as part of your postcard journey. Have fun and experiment!
How it Works:
Registration for the postcard swap will open April 1, 2026 and close on May 1, 2026. You can sign up HERE (link).
We'll match you up with another local quilter and exchange contact information by May 8, 2026.
The deadline to mail your postcard to your partner will be May 29, 2026.
