The Calgary Quilt Festival Association (CQFA) was created in 2026 to continue the tradition of a spring quilt showcase for Calgary area quilters.  Our first show will be in May 2027.

The Calgary Quilt Festival showcases the diverse art of quilting by highlighting creativity, storytelling, craftsmanship and community connection while encouraging participation from quilters of all skill levels.

Vision Statement:

We envision a vibrant quilting community where creativity thrives, diversity is celebrated, and quilting is recognized as a powerful artistic and storytelling medium.

The Calgary Quilt Festival is a welcoming platform for quilters at every stage of their skill development.   We will build a broader appreciation by the general public of the evolving art of quilting.
